THET - Tropical Health and Education Trust

Both Phi and THET support partnerships for better health in some of the world’s poorest countries. Between 2008 and 2009, these organisations developed a framework for working together and laid strong foundations for ongoing collaboration. In Ethiopia in particular, this produced clear benefits as each enhanced the other’s programmes of work.

In 2009 a senior information professional contributed to a THET-coordinated national Health Links meeting in Ethiopia and Phi facilitated a health information literacy workshop at Jimma University.

Phi is exploring further synergies with THET for continuing to work with Phi’s partner networks supporting activities in seven countries in East and West Africa.
