Marion Motari
Marion Motari is the Executive Director at DIREITAS Advisory, which is a legal consulting firm based in Nairobi. She is a qualified Medical Law Attorney with extensive work experience in private legal practice and with international organizations and agencies of the United Nations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the United Nations University (UNU). She was formerly the Head of the Governing Bodies Office of the WHO Regional Office for Africa and Secretary to the WHO Regional Ethics Review Committee. She holds a Masters in Medical Law (LLM with Distinction) from Queen Mary, University of London, England and a Master of Science (MSc. Medical Science) from the University of Toronto, Canada. Her areas of expertise are in health governance, global health diplomacy, health systems regulation, institutional restructuring, medical ethics and health rights.
